Musicians Using FL Studio

FL Studio began as FruitLoops in December of 1997. Didier Dambrin developed the program and took it from a applying only a four-channel MIDI drum machine in its origins to its current complexity of being a virtual studio complete with a comprehensive digital audio workstation (DAW).

FL Studio users must have specific device standards before downloading the program: Your device must run on Windows or MacOS and if its Windows, you’ll need it to be Windows 7/8/10 in either 32-bit or 64-bit versions. If its macOS it needs to be 10.13. Your system will need to be 2 GHz AMD or Intel Pentium 3 CPU with full SSE1 support. It requires a minimum of 2 GB of free disk space and 4 GB of RAM. If your CPU is more powerful, you can operate more FX/instruments. With WDM- and/or ASIO-enabled drivers, FL Studio users have access to sampling rates of 192 kHz.

FL Studio has a full wrapper making it compatible with full VST, VST2, VST3, DX, and ReWire plugins. Fl Studio also supports DirectX and third-party VST plugins generators. That includes plugins written in the program’s plugin architecture and independent, standalone programs.
The studio package provides songwriters, singers, and music producers the tools to compose, edit, master, mix and record music as evidenced by the many artists that have used it to produce music. Drake – Aubrey Drake Graham; Soulja Boy- DeAndre Cortez Way; Daddy Yankee – Ramón Luis Ayala Rodríguez; and Southside/Sizzle-Joshua Howard Luellen have all benefitted from FL Studio’s music producing program.

A fully functional version of FL Studio can be downloaded for free with a mixing board of professional quality and musical instruments: piano, chords, bass, and much more as well as adjustable preset sounds. The free trial can be used without a time limit. The mixing board is fully functional allowing you to export files in video, MIDI, WAV, MP3, and FLAC formats.
You might ask why you would buy FL Studio when you get some much for free. A purchased version gives you access to unlimited updates for life. You have limited access to plugins, and you don’t have access to help and support.
